A change without it answers 428 confirmation_required. message_shop is a change too: the preview reads back who gets it and the exact words, and the commit sends exactly those words once (the same ticket, a repeated clientRequestId or the same words on that booking within 2 minutes is never sent twice). join_waitlist sends at once: pass a clientRequestId when you retry. Every operation carries x-confirm: how it confirms (mode two_step | immediate | read) and its retry key (confirmToken, clientRequestId or none). A ZIP we don't serve returns no pros (coverage out_of_area) and a waitlist offer — never a far-away shop. An agent never approves or declines a priced repair line: get_approval_link returns a link the customer opens to sign in and tap Approve or Decline themselves (single-use per line, 6 hours; it stops working if the shop changes a price — get_booking says so; call get_approval_link again). Payment is never collected through this API or the app: the customer pays the pro directly at pickup. Prices are the shop's own menu, plus tax: a service may carry brandPrices (per make — VW = Volkswagen, Chevy = Chevrolet, Mercedes = Mercedes-Benz) or sizePrices {car, suv, truck} (tint, detailing, wraps); quote the customer's row, else the full range. Repair line status: open = what the customer reported (no price); pending = priced and waiting on the customer's OK (they approve it themselves — get_approval_link); approved / declined = the customer's decision. Every call is rate-limited (429). Deprecated this release (still answering until Dec 31, 2026, then gone; use the replacement named on each — x-replaced-by, x-sunset, a Sunset header and a deprecation note in every answer): list_my_tickets, get_ticket, request_booking, confirm_time, cancel_request, message_pro.
